Because we are a small kennel that fills up quickly, we have the following cancellation policy:
10 DAYS NOTICE for holiday reservations OR 3 DAYS NOTICE for non-holiday reservations
Failure to cancel within the above time – may result in a $60 fee if we are unable to fill your spot.
For your pet's safety, all guests must be up to date on their vaccinations. We need a paper copy from your veterinarian to keep with their file. You may bring it when you arrive for boarding or have it emailed to us ahead of time. Our email is email@example.com We must have this to check-in your pet so be sure these vaccinations are included and current.
DOGS need to be up-to-date on Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies.
CATS need to be up-to-date on Feline Distemper and Rabies. And must be able to use a litter pan.
Billing / Check-out Time
If you pick your pet/s up by NOON you will not be charged for that day. Pets picked up after 12:00pm incur a $15 day boarding fee.
food & medication
We encourage you to bring your pet's own food. Please place it in an appropriately sized metal or plastic container with their name and instructions on it. We supply high-quality food for our guests who choose not to bring their own.
We will administer your pet's medication free of charge in most cases. If the procedure is more complicated, there may be a charge for administration. We do not take pets that require insulin.
Hours of Operation
Horse Shoe Kennels is open 8:30am-12pm and 2pm-5pm Monday through Friday. We are open 8:30am-12pm on Saturday and 4pm-5pm on Sunday. We are closed on New Years Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We will close at 12:00 on Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve. We offer an "After-Hour Check-in or Pick-Up" if you make arrangements ahead of time by phone or in person.
